Is this safe to use on a newer Android phone? It says not compatible and I'm afraid to download it 😅 i really want to play this after purchasing it yesterday. Ty!
I uploaded a new version (com.pdrr.fmofullnew-1.5.9-newandroid-release.apk) so try downloading this one.
The old version should work fine, too, as long as you click ‘install anyway.’ The message is due to a potential compatibility issue with older apps, but since FMO is text-based, there are virtually no issues when running it on newer devices.
Hi! I've tried to download the demo for Fool Me Once but it gives me the following message: "No compatible downloads were found." Is there any way I can access the demo before purchasing?
Hi! That's odd, I just checked all the buttons, and they seem to work fine, but I'll try re-uploading the files, so let me know if you had any luck this time, if not, I'll upload the demo somewhere else and link it here.
Hi! Someone recommended this game to me, but it may be for me or not based on one specific story element, and I'd like to ask about it.
Is the revenge mandatory, or can the main character opt out of it based on player choices? Few things are as cathartic to me as giving up on revenge in a supposedly revenge story, but on the other hand, I can't stomach "actual revenge stories".
I get what you mean. Generally, I try to add as many different choices as I can, so that everyone can find an outcome that satisfies them. I am also up for adding more if so requested.
In this case, no, revenge is not mandatory. MC’s drive can also be just ‘freedom,’ especially if you set your core personality to ‘altruistic.’ If you want more detailed spoilers, though, feel free to reach me via mail or DM me on Tumbr. All my info is in my profile.
Let me know if you have any other questions, though! And if you haven’t yet, consider playing the demo first. It’s sizable (2 chapters) and it should give you an idea of what to expect content-wise.

Oh, no, no more spoilers are needed, what you said is enough! Thank you, I'll get it now and will probably play tomorrow, then!
